Dress Code
PMHS DRESS CODE
Peabody Magnet High is aligned with the RPSB dress code policy. The traditional uniform tops for PMHS is black, kelly green, and white polo style shirts. The traditional uniform bottoms may be navy or khaki.
In lieu of the traditional uniform tops, official Peabody Spirit Gear may be purchased via the online spirit store. ONLY OFFICIAL SPIRIT GEAR, purchased via the online spirit store or via the school, may be worn in lieu of uniform tops.
If a student fails to follow the dress code policy, they will receive ISS for one day.
PMHS Dress Code:
School Shirts/Tops:
- Solid black, kelly green, or white polos.
- Polo shirts are to be worn Monday-Thursday. Official Peabody Spirit gear can be worn on Fridays only
- Shirts must be tucked in at all times.
- Only official Peabody school or spirit hoodies may be worn.
- All bottoms must be worn with a belt and can only be navy or khaki. No sagging pants or shorts.
- Hoods and hats are not allowed to be worn inside the building.
Pants/Shorts/Bottoms:
- Skirts and shorts must be at least 4” from the back of the knee (Boys/Girls).
- No spaghetti strap dresses are allowed.
- No bodycon dresses or skirts that are tight or too clingy.
- No rips or cuts in clothing (ex: cut off shorts and jeans with rips).
- No rubber or foam swim footwear, flip-flops, beach or pool sandals, house slippers, Foam runners, or crocs will be allowed.
Earrings/Face/Piercings:
- Headphones, AirPods, and earbuds are not allowed to be worn inside the building or during lunch.
- No facial piercings, this includes nose, lip, brow, or cheeks.
Free Dress:
- No sleeveless or revealing shirts/blouses.
- Jeans with no rips.
- Slides and slippers are not allowed. Crocs are NOT allowed.
- Attire must not display profanity, drugs, alcohol, or explicit graphics.
- Yoga pants and tights are not allowed.
- IDs must be worn at all times on the left collar of your school shirt and facing the front.
- If wearing a hoodie or jacket, the I.D. should be worn on the outside.
- All dress code policies are aligned with the RPSB policy.
